Born from Flavor. Inspired by Mischief
Crooktails was built on bold heat, Caribbean soul, and the antics of two crook-tailed cats who made every day a flavor heist.
The Founder grew up in a kitchen ruled by instinct.
Recipes weren’t written — ingredients were added until the ancestors said, “that’s enough.” That quiet, inherited wisdom still guides every bottle today.
What began as kitchen curiosity became obsession — chasing balance, refining heat, and crafting sauces that didn’t just burn – they told stories that stuck around.
The Crooktails Origin
The name Crooktails is a tribute to Oliver and Riley — two crook-tailed cats with a talent for mischief.
Their tails curled like question marks, and their behavior always led to one:
“Where’d the food go?”
From stealing bites off plates to knocking jars off counters, their antics earned them a nickname my wife and I still use to this day:
“Looks like the Crooktails struck again.”
What started as an inside joke became something more — a symbol of cleverness, charm, and playful rebellion.
That spirit runs through every bottle we craft.
